About 1km.away from Hampankatta towards light house hill road. Situated on the top of the Bavuta gudda maintained by P.V.S. group. the vast expanse of the Arabian sea can be seen from here. The old light house (18th Century) is situated here. No evidence is available as to who constructed it, but it is generally attributed to Hyder Ali and Tippu Sultan who has stationed a considerable navy, built a dockyard and named it Courial (Kodial) or the Port Royal.
